In recent years,with the quick development of the Chinese Reform and Socialism modernization Construction,the scale and number of Chinese corporations have been growing fast.Especially,in the state-owned enterprises,the industry scale,number of employees and productivity have been enlarged greatly.And human resources management,in which performance management system taking an essential role,inevitably became an important direction in the continuous development of the enterprises.Thus,it is more important for a scientific and sound corporation to establish its performance management system.Whereby,during the research process in this paper,the author took Company Y as a research subject,and conducted an in-depth study through the route of "analyzing the current situation---revealing the problems---analyzing reasons---constructing strategies" with the research methods of theoretical analysis,quantitative study and inductive analysis,to further raise an optimized plan and strategy for its performance management system.First,this article combed and an analyzed the performance management system in Company Y by using relative theories of performance management.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the situation of performance management in Company Y,this article revealed the existing problems within the performance assessment system:ambiguous goal of performance assessment system,unsystematic assessment index of the performance assessment system,lack of effective communication and feedback during the performance assessment process,inadequate use of performance assessment results,and deficient support in culture and principle in the performance management system.Second,on the foundation of analyzing the causes of its existing problems,the author raised an improved plan of the performance management in Company Y,and divided its performance management indexes into two classifications:the key performance index and company strategic target.The monthly,seasonal and annually assessment content is normally based on responsibility unit,which will improve the entire performance level of the company.Third,on the basis of clarification of the developing goal of the performance management in Company Y,in order to make sure the realization of working goal and improvement strategy,it is necessary to take a detailed analysis on optimization and perfection of the performance management system through improving philosophies and principles,optimizing target design,application procedures of the performance assessment system,optimizing the results of performance assessment,etc.At last,in order to further ensure the profound application of the performance management system in Company Y,these contents could be introduced:the convergence and collaboration of management system,adequate division of interior management system,the feedback system of management system,etc.,all of which constitute a diversified guarantee system,and will be useful for the future management and development in Company Y and other enterprises as well.
