Study On The Problems Of The Rural Old-age Security Of Xinxiang City

At present,the aging of the population has become a social problem in the countries in twenty-first Century.Unlike other developed countries,China has its own characteristics of aging.Not synchronized with the economic development,and the rural population aging degree is obviously above the city.So the rural areas is more serious,its pension status is also more worthy of attention.This paper selected the rural residents in Xinxiang City of Henan Province as the object of study,adopts normative research and spot investigation to study the rural supporting problem in Xinxiang City comprehensively.First analysis of Xinxiang profiles and the present situation of population aging.Secondly,the current situation of rural elderly in terms of economy,daily life,medical care and spiritual comfort was understood deeply through questionnaires and interviews to rural elderly in Xinxiang City,conclusion Xinxiang real demand and the main problems of the rural old-age.Then,some inspirations to rural areas of Xinxiang were drawn from the mature experience both at home and abroad.Aiming at outstanding rural supporting problems in Xinxiang City,meanwhile,combining the economic level and social development situation,the author put forward the proposals from four respects of government,society,family and individual.It mainly included improving endowment insurance system and institution to satisfy the diversified demands of rural elderly;Accelerating the construction of Central Plains Economic Region,guiding the nearest employment of rural labor force;Strengthening legislation to protect farmers' interests especially landless farmers' old-age security;Standardizing pension fund management,improving the rate of the pension benefit;Carrying forward filial piety culture,stabilizing the foundation position of family endowment;Building a diversified endowment pattern,mobilizing social resources completely,and enhancing the consciousness of self support and health protection to improve the quality of life of the elderly in their twilight years.
