According to the small and medium enterprises performance management status and problems,this thesis takes X company as an example,in order to reform the model of performance appraisal,and establish a perfect,scientific performance management system which makes KPI as the core,combining with its strategic management to change drawbacks in performance management,which is currently existing in small and medium enterprises.The key performance indicators of performance management,combining with the actual situation of China's local small and medium-sized enterprise,through establish a strategy-oriented KPI for X company to improve performance management for the company in accordance with the facts of the Chinese small and medium-sized enterprise,then gradually improve the enterprise's core competence and the level of performance management,ease the pressure from the market competition,complete the reform and innovation of enterprises.Company strategy determines business structure,business process and personnel allocation.It is particularly important to combine company strategy with the KPI performance management system.The majority of enterprises have their own performance appraisal method,but the staff are not satisfied with the method and the results.In fact,the biggest problem in the KPI performance appraisal process is that indicators are too difficult to quantify.Many enterprises design the KPI indicators which are not matching the company strategy,ignoring the contribution of the employees in the work process.It makes that most of the work can not be reflected in indicators,which makes the employees satisfaction decreased.This thesis determines the company's strategic objectives through the analysis of X company's environment,and according to the current situation of performance management of the company,the thesis designs KPI performance management objectives system framework for X company,and analyzes company layer by layer,then combines the KPI target framework with the corresponding,functional department,gradually forming a huge system of KPI.This paper is divided into six parts: The first part is introduction,mainly introduced at home and abroad for the KPI performance appraisal system research.The second part is the theoretical basis of the performance appraisal system,including the balanced scorecard,key performance indicators,the target management method and 360 degree evaluation system,and discussing about the advantage of KPI performance appraisal.The third part introduces the X company,including its current situation of performance appraisal,and the existing problems.The fourth part is to build a reasonable KPI performance appraisal system for X company according to certain principles and ideas,firstly determine the KPI indicators of company level,and then determine the KPI indicators of departmental level.Finally,the KPI indicators are implemented on the staff,and determine the weight of each index.The fifth part is to sum up to ensure that X company can correctly implement the KPI performance appraisal system safeguards.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the whole thesis.
