The pharmaceutical industry is recognized as the rapid growth of theindustry in the national economic development in world. It is predicted that China will become the world’s third-largest pharmaceutical market after the United States and Japan in2013; By2018, China will surpass Japan to become the world’s second-largest pharmaceutical market after the United States. With the rapid and sustainable growth of China’s pharmaceutical market, the international multinational pharmaceutical giants have to focus on the Chinese market. In view of this, our country has been to foster strategic emerging industries to be the sustainable and strategic choice of the "twelfth five-year" period, The biological medicine industry will be the key breeding of domestic countries industry and win more financial and policy support from the government.As a pharmaceutical production enterprise, SPR company is in the face of such opportunities and challenges, with the enterprise management consciousness gradually strengthened, the enterprise’s performance become one of the focus issues of leaders concerned, how to design an effective performance appraisal system become a difficult problems pharmaceutical company in the performance management will face.Based on SPR company’s human resources present situation and problems existing in the current evaluation system, we study the key performance indicator (KPI) that are more advanced on the basis of the analysis and research, more enterprise application of performance appraisal tool at home and abroad. In combination with the practical situation of SPR company, we trying to build up a set of applicable evaluation system and effective ways of performance management to provide some useful reference for related domestic drug manufacturing enterprises intentionally to improve performance management.Paper is divided into six parts; The first part expounds the thesis research background, research questions and research methods and ideas of from the industry prospects, policies and regulations of the macro company currently facing and the role and status of enterprise human resources management; The second part introduces the related theory of performance management and technology of KPI performance appraisal; The third part, current situation and problems analysis of SPR company, we analyze the current performance appraisal system and its existing problems in the human resources management, meanwhile, point out that the key to solve this problem is to redesign the performance evaluation system; The fourth part, SPR company performance evaluation system design, according to the SPR company situation, establishes a set of performance appraisal system based on KPI, by using the principle of the KPI, the company strategy and goal were decomposed of level3assessment index system through top-down, layer upon layer form enterprise to departmental, departmental to post, ensure the realization of strategic goals; The fifth part, the implementation of the performance appraisal system, according to the requirements of the performance management process, the performance appraisal system implementation stage are discussed based on the KPI appraisal system in the implementation of the SPR company processes, including the related preparation work before the implementation of performance, performance plans, performance implementation, performance appraisal, performance feedback and improvement and other links, the performance appraisal results are fully applied in the SPR company salary management, training development and other human resources modules, and the new design of performance indicators system commissioning effect are introduced; The sixth part, conclusion and prospect, the paper has carried on the simple summary and prospect.
