Urbanization was an inevitable process for the development of a country or a region,and also a reasonable way and effective measures to promote economic growth.In recent years,a large amount of agricultural land in the suburbs was occupied and the labor shifted from rural to urban gradually with the continuing process of urbanization.However,urbanization had a certain degree of negative impacts on agricultural land use,especially in the urban-rural fringe,while people’s living standard improved.The farmers’ willingness to plant and the grain yield showed a double low state,which made the contradiction between urbanization quality and utilization level of agricultural land becoming sharp.Therefore,grasping the evolution rules of urbanization quality and utilization level of agricultural land,and positioning accurately urbanization quality development level and utilization level of agricultural land at present stage,had instructive and practical implications for reasonable regional planning development.The thesis took the city of Deyang and Mianyang as a study area.Firstly,the initial evaluation index system was established,and the indicators were pruned moderately after by using the LISREL to carried out confirmatory factor analysis,thus the factor loading and the path coefficient were determined by building the structure equation model.Furthermore,the comprehensive score of urbanization quality and utilization level of agricultural land of De-Mian in 2000-2014 were calculated.Next,Excel and Arc GIS were combined to analyze the evolution in spatial-temporal development changes of De-Mian.Lastly,the correlation coefficient of the two were calculated and the spatial autocorrelation analysis were carried out by SPSS and Geo Da to judge whether there was a correlation relationship between urbanization quality and agricultural land use level of De-Mian.It was supposed that new ideas were provided to promote reasonable urbanization development and agricultural land protection.The conclusions of this paper were summarized as follows:(1)The level of urbanization quality of De-Mian was on the rise in the time series on the whole.The development level of Fucheng district was the highest,followed by Jingyang district,and the city of Guanghan was roughly the same as Youxian district,while Beichuan county and Pingwu county were at the bottom.In space,the distribution of the high score of urbanization quality expanded gradually,and the regional differences were becoming more and more obvious.Jingyang district and Fucheng district,as two regional growth pole,promoted the development of Cheng-De-Mian economic belt and the surrounding cities radically.However,the level of economic development was still low in the north and south of the economic belt axis.(2)The utilization level of agricultural land of De-Mian was relatively stable in time,and could be divided into high level development areas including the city of Shifang,Fucheng district and the city of Guanghan,and two low level development zones consisting of Pingwu county and Beichuan county according to their level of development,and the remaining 10 low level development areas.In spatial distribution,the utilization level of agricultural land was gradually developing and promoting to the high score range,and the regional gap was gradually narrowing down.The general utilization level of agricultural land of the city of Shifang was high all the year round within the scope of De-Mian,and the level of Pingwu county and Beichuan County in the northern mountainous areas of Mianyang was quite low(3)There was a significant positive correlation between urbanization quality and utilization level of agricultural land.For the areas where urbanization quality and utilization level of agricultural land were unbalanced,we could improve the quality of urbanization by appropriately improving the urbanization rate of population,expanding the scale of cities and towns,developing secondary and tertiary industries,increasing social security investment and improving social medical facilities.Or,we could improve the utilization level of agricultural land by increasing the unit mechanical power input,improving the irrigation rate,and boosting the grain yield for coordinated and healthy development of urbanization and level of agricultural land use.
