Spatial-Temporal Coupling Analysis Between Urban Land Intensive Utilization And Urbanization Quality In Jiangsu Province

Urbanization is the necessary stage for the modernization of countries or regions in the world.China's urbanization level has leapt forward since the reform and opening up.As of 2015,its urbanization rate has reached 56.10%.The urbanization rate of Jiangsu Province has already reached 66.52%in 2015,which is far higher than the national average.However,the rapid urbanization not only promotes the rapid development of urban economy,but also makes a series of problems,which includes the traffic congestion,environmental pollution,resource depletion,ecological destruction.Therefore,it has been difficult to adapt to the needs of reality to measure urbanization process only from the perspective of the number and size.Quality is the real reflection of the urbanization process under the new era.In this context,how to improve the quality of urbanization has clearly become a hot topic of domestic and foreign scholars.At the same time,with the urbanization process to accelerate,land demand of urban development is growing rapidly and urban land resources are limited,which aggravates land supply and demand contradiction.This shows that the past extensive and inefficient land use has become a major factor restricting urban development.It is obvious that urban land intensive utilization has become an inevitable choice of achieving sustainable urban development.Thus,their goals of promoting urban sustainable development are consistent.Therefore,whether the relationship between the two can be coordinated and stable development is directly related to the goal of achieving urban sustainable development.In view of this,this paper redefines the core content of urbanization quality and urban land intensive use by analyzing and combing the relevant research comprehensively.On this basis,the evaluation index system of urbanization quality and urban land intensive use is constructed.Secondly,taking the 13 municipal districts of Jiangsu Province as the empirical research object and using the linear weighting evaluation model based on the entropy method to analyze the characteristics of spatial and temporal evolution of the urbanization quality and urban land intensive use of urban districts in Jiangsu Province from 2011 to 2015.Then,On the basis of clarifying the coupling mechanism between the two,this paper uses evaluation model of coupling and harmonious development and spatial autocorrelation analysis technique to analyze the coupled temporal-spatial evolution characteristics,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and measures for different types of coupling and development in different regions,and expect to provide reasonable decision basis for the government and decision-making departments.
