GIS-based Study On The Spatial-temporal Evolution Of Urbanization In Henan County And Its Economic Correlation

On the basis of the population urbanization data in 108 counties in Henan province from 2000,2010,2015,this article analyze the spatial-temporal evolution of the county urbanization of population in Henan province.According to the contrastive analysis with the country economic level described by the per capita GDP,this paper research the deeper development relationship between them.The results showed that:(1)The county urbanization gap in Henan province decreased gradually in the absolute and relative sense;The county urbanization rate is lower than the average rate of the national urbanization and the urbanization rate of Henan province;(2)Big gaps are exist in several countries.The difference of the Henan county urbanization rate between the top and the bottom are 76.3%?79.15%?69.8% in 2000?2010?2015;(3)The development of the urbanization is not balanced in geographic space,the high level of urbanization mainly concentrate in the central section and the northwest of the Henan Province,However,the eastern and southern,which are the traditional agricultural country are in the lower level mostly.(4)Based on the analysis of spatial and temporal evolution of Urbanization,we can concluded that:there are obvious changes in the level of urbanization,there are some fluctuations in the level of different counties;The development of urbanization in the southwest of Henan Province lag behind relatively;taking the "Jing Guang Railway" as the dividing line,it gradually presents the macro situation of the urbanization of the county,which is high in the West and low in the east.(5)The author use the spatial autocorrelation analysis to research the difference of Henan province county urbanization.The results show that the county urbanization don't present a completely random distribution in space,however,some country urbanization are tending towards spatial concentration in local region which is gradually enhanced.Local spatial autocorrelation analysis showed that the central region and the western region are in the high level and the northern area is in the low level mostly.The difference is not significant.(6)The calculation of the county urbanization in Henan province and economic development correlation show that the country urbanization rate and the per capita GDP exist significant correlation from 2000 to 2015.What's more,the economic condition is better,the urbanization rate is high.From the perspective of the growth rate,there is no significant correlation between the two factors in the study period,and the county economic growth rate has no obvious effect on the growth rate of urbanization.(7)The analyze of the hotspots and coldspots between the urbanization rate in Henan province and the per capita GDP in 2000,2010,2015 show that the urbanizaiton hotspots distribution are centralized relatively,which are focused on the middle area and the western part.The coldspots are focused on the eastern part mostly.The repeatability is gradually strengthened in the hotspots between urbanization and economic,but it is not apply to the coldspots.Finally the article put forward relevant suggestions of Henan county urbanization development:focus on promoting the county urbanization;balance development between regions in urbanization;change the mode of economic development,accelerate the transformation of industrial upgrading;urbanization in the concept of the ecological civilization.
