Research On Quality Improvement Of Die And Mold For Auto Covering

The auto covering is the different surface and the internal spare parts which are composed of car carriage or bridge houses and the overlay of the launching machine with the bedrock thin metals plank anticipating.The auto covering die& mold design is a very important factor to rate the appearance and quality performance of auto covering and finished vehicle.In this thesis,the first chapter describes the background and significance of the subject,and makes a review about advanced technological methods of domestic auto cover mold manufacturing.Moreover,some quality improvement theories and methods are introduced in this part.Then it gives a brief introduction of the structure of my thesis in this chapter.The second chapter analyzes the manufacturing process of domestic car covering mold.Such process has been divided into two stages,mold designing and mold making.The main quality problems of process analysis,structural design and solid casting are discussed.In the following two chapters,the thesis analyzes the potential quality issues existing in different phases during the auto covering die & mold manufacturing in details based on several years die design working experience.These quality issues include stamping process problems,structure design problems,cavity less casting problems and etc.The thesis found out the reasons and brought forward the relative solutions-including: introducing the CAE analysis technology,setting up the parametric standard parts library,using the motion simulation technology to solve the problem of interference and so on.A few number of actual cases about mold manufacturing have been described in the third and the fourth chapter so as to verify the feasibility of the proposed quality improvement program.In the fifth chapter,some other improvement methods are illuminated to systematically improve auto covering die & mold quality performance,such as Total Quality Management(TQM),PDCA cycle implementation,die maintenance record establishment and shop floor management.At last,the thesis summarizes the key points of my research and proposes the forecast to the further research.This thesis research results of the manufacturing process quality improvement,and the Die& mold products quality improvement have important reference for similar companies.
