With the social development,scientific and technological progress,as well as the establishment of economy and information integration in the whole world,competition for talents has become more and more prominent among enterprises.The competition among enterprises is the competition for talents in essence,since talents are the most important and rare resource among different kinds of resource of enterprises.Talents have subjective initiative,and they can respond to the change of the internal and external environment of enterprises,and help the enterprises adapt to various economic environments.A company is a labor-intensive enterprise located in a remote area in the midwest of our country with low industry admission standard.It suffers from serious staff turnover and improper personnel structure,therefore it cannot attract and retain talents.Now A company is troubled by the large amount of losses of talents,which even threatens the survival of the company.For this reason,in this paper the author analyzes the problems brought about by staff turnover from the perspective of human resource management,and elaborates on the positive effect of preventing and controlling staff turnover.Important discourses and points made by domestic and foreign researchers are sorted out and analyzed.Then,the author lists the theories of staff turnover and generalizes universal rules,which lay a theoretical basis for further studying the staff turnover problem of A company.In this paper,all the employees of A company are taken as the subject of study.By means of interview method,document research,questionnaire survey,and other research methods,the author thoroughly analyzes the situation of human resource of A company and finds out the common factors causing staff turnover.It is found that there are many problems in A company leading to severe staff turnover,such as incomplete salary system,lack of employee training,insufficient promotion space,and obscure enterprise culture.Targeting at the current situation of large amount of staff turnover of A company and based on the causes resulting in staff turnover,the authors suggests that A company shall complete its salary system,improve the training system,forge enterprise culture,clear out the paths for promotion,etc.so as to prevent and control the problem of severe staff turnover.A company shall also formulate rules and regulations,and improve the management level of its personnel department and the modernization degree.This paper can also provide some methods for reference to enterprises with similar experience.
