A Research On The Relationship Among Organizational Justice,Self-efficacy And Organizational Citizenship Behavior | | Posted on:2018-11-21 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J Cui | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2359330512990634 | Subject:Business management | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The study aims to explore the influence mechanism of organizational justice on self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior.Based on extensive literature review,this study proposed the theoretical model.Organizational justice was developed as the determinant,self-efficacy as mediator and organizational citizenship behavior as the outcome.The relationship between self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior and the mediating effect of self-efficacy were examined in detail.Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies were adopted in this paper.First,on the basis of theoretical analysis,the paper proposed theoretical model and hypothesis model;Second,the structural equation modeling(SEM)was used to analyze the data from the valid questionnaires collected in the formal investigation.In this study,a total of 600 questionnaires were distributed nationwide targeting young employees,and a total of 498 valid questionnaires were obtained.The findings indicated that(1)Organizational justice has a positive effect on self-efficacy;(2)Self-efficacy has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior;(3)Organizational justice has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior;(4)Self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior.Theoretically,this study contributes to the literature in three-folds.(1)this study developed a model of the effect of organizational justice on self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior,which has certain theoretical significance on the organizational behavior and human resource management;(2)It verified the positive influence of self-efficacy on organizational citizenship behavior;(3)It examined the mediator role of self-efficacy between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior,which enriches the theory of the intermediary effect of self-efficacy and provides some ideas for future research.Practically,the results of this study may shed lights to both managers and employees.(1)It is urgent for organizations to attach importance to distributive justice in the first place because it is the basis of organizational justice;(2)It is important to enhance the system of procedural justice;(3)The managers should pay more attention on information justice;(4)It is necessary for organizations to make the leaders play an active role;(5)The new generation of employees should continuously improve the level of self-efficacy so as to improve the professional ability and achieve career success. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Organizational Justice, Self-efficacy, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Generation-Y Employees | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
