As the new century coming,with the highly development of the domestic economy,which enhanced the need of the steel rapidly,the steel industry was booming.The steel industry was hotly invested.Facing with the serious market,the state-owned steel company invested on technical rebuilding project.While the successful project ensure the enterprise to enlarge the market possession,increase the power of competition and develop continuously.As the leader of the local steel industry,Baosteel imported the project management in the early 90s'.However,because the state-owned steel company operated under planning-economy for a long time and the circumstance of coarse investment,the execution efficiency was lowly.After the financial crisis,the steel company reduce the investment on the technical rebuilding project and requested a more rigorous management.The existed project management can't meet the need of the fact.The thesis start from the basis theory of the project management,introduce the related knowledge and content.Then,describe the existed management of the technical rebuilding project.Then,give out an example of a project in Baosteel to illustrate the drawbacks.Using the knowledge of project management to analyze the problem in the process and give out the solution.Such as establish the management organiziton;define the member function and work distribution;with the help of the Gantt chart and WBS,improve the plan management and time management;focus on the investment,adopt the reasonable way to calculate the cost and benefit;improve the venture management,forecast the risk and bring forward the solution;After the project,track the equipment condition,establish the general performance assessment.The important point of the thesis is to discover problems,analyze reasons,take measure and accumulate experience.Thereby,change the superficial management to the strict,scientific,efficient management.Meanwhile,it could be a reference to the other steel companies.
