A Study On The Supply Chain Management In Japanese Food Companies

Recently,Chinese catering industry present a serious of problems such as decentralization of suppliers,imperfect of logistics configuration system,lack of information management system,food insecurity and large amount of food loss and so on.In this paper,I analyze the different culture and management between China and Japan in the background of the development of Japanese catering enterprises.From the perspective of supply chain management,in this paper I primarily study the main contents of catering business and analyze the strategic characteristics of supplier management,logistics and customer relationship management in supply chain management by literature review,local investigation and so on.Therefore,it can provide a reference for the development of Chinese catering enterprises.From the social responsibility and supply chain links of Japanese catering business,the importance of food safety and the food loss problem should be highly valued.What's more,Throughout the Japanese national and local food loss disposal solutions,finally achieved a result that start at the food education,managed by the legal monitoring,take a fundamental measures by the proper disposal of waste,thus promoted the food recycling and other relative activities.Based on the theory of SCM,CRM and value chain,the study of this paper start from the concept,forms and relationships of supply chain,and conclude a result that the logistics,information flow and financial flow in supply chain are closely connected.Then combine with the learning of value chain,in order to understand the logistic,information flow and financial flow's role in various activities of business.Thereby,it can draw a conclusion that the construction of library management,information sharing and related management system is very important.Secondly,in this paper we discuss the operation and management of Japanese catering enterprises,and mainly pay attention to the structure of industrial chain,corporate social responsibility and supply chain management mode of Japanese catering enterprises.The result of this study are all the links include place selection,supplier cooperation,logistics configuration,and risk control should follow the standardization,optimization and other principles.Through the effective management of each stage,the optimal development of supply chain management model can be come true.Then,this paper analyze three important links of supply chain management in catering enterprises,they are supplier management,logistic and customer relationship management.Thus we can learn the technology of Japanese supplier selection and cooperation skills,operation of logistics center and the library management model,collection of customer information and realization of customer value and so on.Finally,in the paper I analyze the food loss which produced in the last part of food supply chain and put forward a new problem of how to deal with food loss.Then I expound the current situation and adverse effects of food loss in China based on the environmental countermeasures ofOkayama County in Japan,where mainly take the measures of food education promotion plan,3R measures and other proper disposals.It can be a valuable textbook for the treatment on Chinese food loss.From the study of the supply chain management in Japanese catering enterprises,I hope it can inject new blood into the development of Chinese,and also hope that the catering enterprises can pay more attention to information processing systems,logistic standards integration,long-term and friendly cooperation relationship between customers.In the end,we can make a contribution to our society through the effective treatment of food loss.
