Study On Exchange Rate Risk Management And Control In International OEM Project

In the early 70's,20 th Century,after the collapse of the Bretton Woods system,the exchange rate system of various countries in the world gradually changed to the floating exchange rate regime,and the exchange rate volatility gradually increased,which had a major influence on the projects.The risk of exchange rate is becoming one of the most important risks in the project.Risk management is an important part of project management,which has an important significance to the success or failure of the project.Base on above reasons,this article choose the international OEM project which is the representative one of the international project as the research object,and take the exchange rate risk as the subject.This article research on exchange rate management and control mode,to help project managers to improve risk management level,and reduce loss of the project caused by the risk of exchange rate.The first part,explain the research background and significance,and review the domestic and foreign research on exchange rate risk.The second part,review the development of exchange rate system and Exchange rate risk management and control theory.It can be concluded that the floating exchange rate is still the trend of China's recent exchange rate reform,and the exchange risk is inevitable.And provide the theoretical basis for this articleThe third part,this article describes the characteristics of the international OEM project and the impact of exchange risk on it.Then take D project of S company as the example,which shows the specific impact of exchange risk on the international OEM project.And analyzes the D project's exchange rate risk avoidance measures and project management problems.Finally,put forward effective measures to prevent exchange rate risk of international OEM project,and provide reference for project managers.Hope project management personnel to enhance risk awareness,strengthen the exchange rate risk early warning,improve the construction project exchange rate risk management system,to make full use of the financial innovation tools,to minimize the losses caused by exchange rate risk to the project.Let the project upgrade the comprehensive competitiveness.
