Study On International Construction Project Risk Management For China Telecommunication Construction Enterprises

With rapidly modernizing step and national economy of our country, the quantity of international engineering project quantity increases, the scale enlarges, the investment increases, and the construction cycle lengthens. However, the project implementation loses control seriously. The international engineering project, as a comprehensive social activity covering set economy, technology, management, and organization, has uncertainty in each aspect. Therefore, the international engineering project needs risk management urgently. In modern engineering project management, risk management becomes one of research focus.As a vital content of project management, risk management of project is in a creative moment in the theoretical system of our country. From the view of Chinese contractor, this article applies risk management theories and methods to summarize and analyze kinds of risks which maybe occur when Chinese contractors operate international project of engineering contract in Nigeria, and classifies those risks as transverse risk such as political risk, economical risk, social risk and natural and social risk and lengthways risk such as prophase risk and risk in contract operation. On the base of above-mentioned classifying, the article provides concerned analyze and countermeasure to try to provide useful reference to Chinese contractors who working in Nigeria and help them to improve concerned ability for how to prevent and deal with risk in project work. Therefore, to make this article can guide the practice of international project of engineering contract.The paper systematically introduces the risk and the basic meaning of international engineering project risks, and theoretically makes the detailed explanation of risk recognition, risk estimation, risk assessment, the risk response, and risk monitoring procedure in the engineering project risk management of entire process. On the base of comprehensive analysis to the engineering project risk management theory theoretically and the management process, the paper discusses the entire process of engineering project risk management from the project risk management knowledge system.
