The project manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the project by the legal representative of the enterprise, and is the leader in the process of project management, which plays a decisive role in the successful implementation of the project. Compensation incentive is one of the most important means of incentive, and the most easy to be used. Reasonable and effective compensation incentive for project managers can help project management companies to achieve corporate strategic management objectives and improve market competitive advantage.G company is a state-owned small and medium enterprises engaged in radio and television engineering, information network engineering, communication systems and other projects. Along with the digital cable TV in a nationwide promotion, company to undertake engineering quantity has expanded, company scale expanding gradually. G company under the condition of the project manager a number to increase gradually, the project manager's enthusiasm and initiative of the work continues to fall. This paper studies the situation of G company. The results show that the main reason of this phenomenon is that there is a serious problem in the compensation management of the project manager for many years. The problem is that less floating pay and less pay levels, performance evaluation method is lack of incentive, the promotion mechanism is not perfect, the benefits of the average and unitary, the project manager's compensation system is a serious lack of incentive. The main reason for this situation is that the company's top manager is not enough attention to project manager's salary management, the past system of compensation for many years, did not adjust according to the company's business development and project manager's work changes. The compensation management system of the project manager has not changed for many years, and has not adjusted the change of the business development and the project manager of the company. Second, human resource management personnel management personnel professional level is not high, and no timely detection of the problem and propose targeted solutions. Third, some basic work of human resource management is relatively weak. It's difficult to meet the needs of scientific compensation management. According to the field interviews and the views of the company's top leaders, the characteristics and needs of the project manager are analyzed, and the solution to the problem of the project manager's compensation system is put forward. Measures are as follows:the establishment of broadband pay system; improve the performance evaluation system; improve the project manager position promotion system; the establishment of flexible benefits system, and put forward specific implementation plan.
