Since the new century, with the growing importance of environmental problems mankind made, and the increasing demand for clean energy, the photovoltaic industry has been developing rapidly. However, in the past decade, the world’s PV industry has experienced a substantial big play, that there has been frenzied investment bustling scene, there have been a number of photovoltaic business failures Depression scene. 2014, with the overall good to the global PV industry, as well as the rise of China PV industry market, the Chinese PV industry began to take the ice age. Many places restart PV development plan. As China PV industry development center, China PV industry chain of Sichuan’s most complete, at which time analysis of their level of competitiveness, the choice of development strategies, determine the focus of development is particularly important.Porter’s diamond model is the classical model currently used in the international competitiveness of industry analysis, it is also being used in the photovoltaic industry competitive analysis. With the help of diamond model, the factor endowments, market demand, related industries, competitors and strategic choices, government policies and the opportunities, the competitiveness of the PV industry in Sichuan qualitative judgments from different aspects.In addition, the paper also uses gray correlation analysis method for the photovoltaic industry competitiveness in Sichuan were quantitatively analyzed.
