Regional Comparative Study Of The IOT Industry Competitiveness Of China

As the third wave of the information industry,the internet of things(IOT) have a huge impact on social and economic development,it is the source of the growing world economy.At present, Europe, the United States, Japan, Korea and other countries are constructing the IOT,and have a lot of work on technology application.Our country attached importance to the development of the IOT industry too,and use it as a pillar industry of the national strategic level.Therefore, it is an important strategic issue to properly evaluate the competitiveness of IOT,thus promoting the healthy development of the IOT industry.First, by reviewing and analyzing the comprehensive study about IOT,this article determines the content and framework.Secondly,review the Porter Diamond Model Theory and elaborate the connotation,architecture, key technology and industry chains of IOT.Then through a comparative analysis of the IOT industry at home and abroad, point out the characteristics and deficiencies of the IOT development of China.Then,according to the six factors of Diamond model to build the IOT industry competitiveness index system,and using an evaluation method which combines gray relational analysis(GRA) with TOPSIS to analysis the IOT industrial competitiveness and its main influencing factors of Chinese central and western areas.The studies show that,the IOT industry of eastern region has the absolute competitive advantage in the four aspects:there are the primary and advanced factors of production, the corporate strategy and the government,but in terms of the supporting industries the advantage is not obvious and the gap between the different regions reduced greatly.In terms of demand conditions, the western region is far behind the eastern region and the first time to catch up with the central region;The studies shows that,In the eastern region,Guangdong Province maintain a absolute competitive advantage and Jiangsu Province occupy a stable competitive advantage;Anhui and Henan Province are leading the competition in the Central region;Sichuan Province has the exclusive competitive advantage in the western region.Finally,according to the analysis,Several policy suggestion to improve the competitiveness of IOT industry are proposed:the macro level includes the increasing government support,accelerate the process of IOT standards, increase the IOT industry unified planning, create a legal environment for the Cooperative;the macro level focused on thinking to strengthen the IOT industry clusters,Specifically,the recommendations include Improving the IOT industry independent innovation ability and the chain-related structure,and Strengthening the function of the IOT industry park;While at the micro level have three suggestions:training and introducing IOT talent,enhancing the competitiveness of their products to meet the needs,cultivating and the introducing the IOT business models.This paper enriches the compare research of regional competitiveness of the IOT industry,it can propose useful ideas to the development model of IOT and have importantreference value to the relevant decision-making departments.
