Nowadays,the research on Central Processing Unit(CPU)is increasing in China,and there are more and more open source CPU architectures and open source CPU products.Microprogrammable controller is the core component of the whole CPU control pathway.CPU is popular nowadays.The performance of microprogrammed controller is one of the key factors to improve the speed of the whole processor.Therefore,it has theoretical and practical significance to explore its design optimization.This paper completes the research of microprogrammed controller based on RISC-V instruction set processor.In this paper,the microprogram controller based on the RISC-V instruction set processor is designed according to the von Neumann structure.The width of the bus is set up to 8 bits.The instruction set uses a simplified instruction set RISC-V,including 23 functional instructions and 3 panel instructions,mainly composed of high frequency and simple instructions,including the register operation class instruction and the jump.Class instruction,memory access class instruction and input and output class instruction.The logic expression is listed,and the combinational logic circuit is set up at the end,and the design of the microprogram controller part is completed,and the complete model machine is formed with the peripheral operation device and the memory.
