With the development of domestic virtual reality technology,VR video and animation began to enter people's vision.At this stage VR video and VR animation are using 360-degree panoramic video capture or synthesis to achieve,but based on this technology VR animation is difficult to have a sense of immersion and interaction.Through the study of the VR animation on the market,it is very important to find a VR animation based on the game engine.Its experiment and innovation are immersive authenticity and experience.This graduation project will use the Unreal 4 engine,produced a real-time rendering based on the game engine VR animation clips.Unreal Engine 4 game engine production animation more efficient and more detailed,to enhance the audience's sense of experience,while the sound through the VR animation design,through the sound to enhance the sense of reality.Using the HTC Vive display to replace the traditional computer monitor,so that the human body head and htc vive headset monitor rotation to keep pace,in order to achieve the experience of the three-dimensional scene has a full range of immersive animation appreciation.More of the future of the animated lens language expression of a new way of thinking and explore the direction.Based on the basic concept and application of VR,this paper summarizes the research on VR animation in the market and academic field.Through the investigation found that from the professional theory to the application of technology,explore and design VR animation works almost no,which also for the project design and research provides a great play space.In the specific text,the first general summary of the VR animation design of the difficult problems,and longitudinal combing in the early stages of the design of all aspects of the design steps,as well as the design will be used in the program,software,Equipment induction.And then one by one from the basic character model production,scene model production,model material production,character action design and binding,the role of character synthesis,the final structure of the scene,the animation scene conversion,animation sound design,etc.were introduced in detail And the recommendation of the program technology.Thus showing the interactive technology in the traditional animation production ideas and production methods on a change.Finally,through the design and research to explore the direction of the future of animation and animation prospects,the development of VR animation ideas and reflection.In this paper,the summary of the method to start,the traditional animation and VR animation were compared.Put forward the traditional animation in the story creation and expression of the advantages of VR animation also pointed out in the free perspective on the innovation and drawbacks brought about.VR technology in the field of animation applications for traditional animation is indeed a breakthrough innovation and challenges.But at the same time due to the characteristics of VR interactive technology,VR animation and the concept of the game has become relatively blurred.
