Social Indifference In News Reports And Its Media Responsibility

With the coming of the information era,China's market economy sustains high-speed development,which has accumulated enormous material wealth.The living standard has been greatly improved;the spiritual level has also followed a profound change.The role of mass media in the daily life is becoming more prominent and our reliance on media is also growing.In the modern world,we are surrounded by a large number of public opinion.The media is to create a "virtual world",where we can not only experience kind and harmonious society,but also understand the truth of false and brutal society.The relationship between human nature and morality is the inevitable theme in the process of human development.As proverb goes 'Morality is the coin of the nation and national',China has always considered itself as the 'etiquette of the state'.Since its reform and opening-up,China has made remarkable achievements in the world.However,at the same time,we also have to face a series of serious moral problems.In recent years,we often see bad news.For example,the Sanlu milk powder,the waste oil,the lean meat,the colored bread,the Peng Yu case and the Yueyue incident are endless.What's more,no one is willing to help an elderly fall.The emergence of women's attacks in Yitel Beijing arouses the collective panic,which has made people greatly focus on social ethical issues from news reports.In the face of the crisis situation of others,human nature should be filled with sympathy and compassion,however,social indifference gradually become a disharmonious tone in the construction of socialist morality.Social indifference has been widely concerned by the community,even sparked a strong public opinion.'Social indifference' has also become hot research issues in the ethics,sociology and psychology.Nowadays,many experts and scholars are trying to find effective solutions of'social indifference'.Therefore,the present paper in the view of media's sense of social responsibility research "social indifference".I pick up 228 valid samples from Internet news reports about the social indifference,January 1,2012 to December 31,2016.With four typical cases,this essay tries to find solutions,from social hot issues of selected samples of text analysis,the perspective of media present and responsibility of interpretation in detail.
