With the development of economy and the improvement of living standards,a variety of pastimes has emerged among people,interest-related groups has grown and drawn the attention of scholars.In my hometown,Luoyang,the activity "trudge" has developed rapidly,and become the representative phenomenon of city's leisure sports.From the perspective of news communication,with the theories of interest-related groups and community transmission,a qualitative analysis is made on the "trudge" team in the J district of Luoyang,which is the largest and most influential group,through the method of participant observation and depth interviews.This paper is going to explore the communication structures and function extensions of the interest-related groups,and examine the spread of "groups" supported by new media in a specific group.In order to analyze the communication structure of the "trudge" team in J District of Luoyang,it is necessary to study the formation and development of the team at first.So the paper starts from the rise and development of the "trudge" team in Luoyang,and explores its history,beginning and communication network.The second part also analyzes macroscopic and individual formative motivation of the "trudge" team,to make a overall grasp.After the whole analysis of forming of Luoyang and J District "trudge" team,in order to clarify the process of information dissemination in this group,to know the members' state of media participation and interaction during the process,the research is carried out in the specific communication context,based on the principle of standards,and centered in the members.This paper focuses on the communication changes of the group in the integration,differentiation and reintegration stages,and summarizes its characteristics in the scene,the present factor,the "flat" structure,the differentiated form,the conflics,the integration of "information flow",and share information by "face to face" and other manifestations.The manifestations not only show the popularity of the new media in the grassroots society,but also show the feature "strong relationships and weak links" in the group,and draw the conclusion that there is a small reconstructed group and isolated solitary in the group.The transmission structure of three stages has changed,so the "group"communication function has also been expanded and replaced.This study is followed by the relevant theory of group communication,through the participatory observation,and a depth interview to a total of 25 members:the owners,administrators,the players,and makes the following conclusions:After the integration,differentiation and reintegration,these three stages of the information dissemination structure,the composition of J District "trudge" team is from the first relationship composed of the first circle to reorganizing the relationship between the second circle,and in the process of transmission and re-centralization small groups,"group" communication function will also appear and change.the following conclusions are drawn on the presentation and expansion of the "group" communication function:Firstly,the direct function of informing exercise notice and the function of chatting is the first common goal of the group communication,that is,the "group" communication function.Secondly,the emergence of the practical function makes the group get other functions except trudge,recreation,including career development functions,emotional assistance functions,public service functions,life help function and marketing functions.According to the whole research process,the conclusion is drawn that the "group" function has been expanded and replaced;the new media and the social structure of the micro-bottom have combinated;Internet new media has been widely used;the"strong relationships and weak links" features has shown;self-organization of the group has been strengthened;the emotional dependence of the members in the group has been more deepened;and the cohesion of the group has been gradually increased.
