Narrative Research On Tourism Geography TV Programs - A Comparative Analysis Of "Family In The Distance" And "The Walker"

With the continuous development of social economy and the tourism,Tourism TV programs came into being,from the original form of serving life to t today's tourism geography ones,whose content and themes are becoming more and more abundant,but its development speed has fallen behind that of the TV industry and specialization.Its forms and content tend to be the same and commercial,which lack connotation and originality with the poor quality.No sooner had the two programs Homeland Dreamland and Traveler been broadcast than they received good remarks with high audience ratings.By the end of August 2016,six series of Homeland Dreamland has been broadcast,with patriotism as the theme,reporters walking to experience the country natural scenery and cultural landscape by discovering common stories to show the people life changes,which is a complete image about the civilization of China.Traveler first broadcast in 2004,with outdoor exploration,eco-environment protection and local customs and practices as its theme,tells the stories along the journey and personal deeds all over the world from the views of the travelers with a profound humanistic spirit.After watching the two programs in details and reading many special books about them,the author comes up with her own opinions about the development of this kind of programs by comparing the two programs by recounting.Chapter one is on the summary of tourism geography programs by the analysis of its connotation and development,and summarizes ht narrative features.Chapter two is on the comparison between the themes of the two programs on the basis of watching the programs and analyzing their themes to conclude the subjects they want to show to the audience in different ways.Chapter three is on the analysis of narrative perspective of the two programs and the dialectic analysis of many aspects of views in the programs to get effects of the different narrative perspective in the two programs on recounting these stories.Chapter four is on the comparison of the narrative structures in the two programs by the argumentation of the narrative structures in the two programs by using the theory of narratology to analyze their different effects of expression.Chapter five is on the analysis of the trend of this kind of programs by analyzing the excellent home and abroad programs of the same kind to learn from them to improve themselves,presenting the trend of its development in the future.Through these analysis,she makes a conclusion about the experience to promote the development of tourism geography programs.In this paper,the author comes up with some immature but more innovative ideas and views to hope to make breakthroughs in the research of the tourism geography TV programs by analyzing the two programs.Due to my lack of knowledge and experience,this article also has some aspects to improve,only hoping that this article can serve as reference for the programs about tourism geography in the mainland China.
