With the interconnection capacity increasing of the new energy power generation system, high-performance dynamic reactive power compensation device provides a reliable guarantee for the large scale new energy power generation system which is connected to the electricity grid. This article focuses on the control system design and implementation which is based on 35 kV voltage grade dynamic reactive power compensation device. This device is successful application in the wind farms which includes 35 kV voltage level and 24 Mvar capacity.Firstly, the significance and application status of dynamic reactive power compensation device have been discussed, and the various topology structure of dynamic reactive power compensation device is summarized, the basic running principle is analyzed. Secondly, the control scheme based on multiple master coordination control system of dynamic reactive power compensation device is proposed, and the power unit balance control algorithm which is based on negative sequence voltage injection is analyzed. The dynamic reactive power regulating function is realized through to the design of the controller layer, application layer and control algorithm program.Finally, the main circuit parameters of dynamic reactive power device are designed. The reactive power compensation device is successful application in the wind farm through debugging and optimization the control parameter. The experimental data proves that the correctness of the main loop and the control system design. The successful application of the reactive power device ensures the stability of the grid voltage and then provides a reliable guarantee for the large-scale new energy power generation system connecting to the grid, therefore which has important theoretical value and practical significance.
