With the rapid development of ultrahigh speed aircrafts,the development of radar to detect ultrahigh speed targets becomes more and more urgent.As the core of radar system is the signal processing algorithm,it's necessary to study the signal processing algorithm for the echo of ultrahigh speed targets,which is fast and effective.Developing a radar needs to test.But it's too expensive to use a real ultrahigh speed aircraft to test it.Therefore,it's a good choice to use a radar target simulator to simulate the signal of ultrahigh speed targets.This article focuses on two aspects of content:the ultrahigh speed targets echo generation scheme,and its processing algorithms.First,this article set up the mathematical model of targets in general speed condition through mathematical deduction.Then generalize it to ultrahigh speed condition,point out that the characteristic of target echo in ultrahigh speed condition is that its time compression effect can't be ignored.Second,this article discusses the ultrahigh speed targets echo generation scheme according to its mathematical model,point out that the most critical problem is the simulation of time compression,and expand discussion around this problem.Third,this article point out that the impact to signal processing of ultrahigh speed targets echo is the range walk,then studies the algorithm to correct range walk according to keystone transform.Fourth,this article expounds the design and implementation of the ultrahigh speed targets echo simulator base on FPGA according to the scheme discussed above.Last,use the ultrahigh speed targets echo processing algorithm discussed in this article to process the data collect from the simulator,to verify that the simulator works correctly,and the ultrahigh speed targets echo generation scheme discussed above is true.
