With the increasing cost of radar test and the improvement of the subsequent data processing accuracy, radar simulator is widely used in the field of radar for its prominent characteristics and good repeatability. And the necessity of its application is growing. Traditional echo simulator is limited by the computing complexity and the capacity of device, which makes it difficult to achieve the expected processing speed and accuracy. So we introduce a high-speed parallel processing ability of graphics processor(GPU) to participate in the operation and data processing.The purpose of this paper is to use existing track information to construct the echo by means of information extraction. The corresponding processing algorithms can be used to reconstruct the digital track. Selecting the phase encoding which is commonly used in radar signal processing to be the structure of reference signal. Using the distance- doppler imaging algorithm to get the time delay and Doppler-frequency in pulse compression. And then we can obtain the azimuth from the beam forming algorithm. Using the graphical user interface(GUI) to gain echo simulator which parameters can be set. Then compared track simulation with real track.For echo structure and algorithm used in the process of implementation of cosine arithmetic, floating-point matrix multiplication and fast Fourier transform using the unified computing device architecture(CUDA) and analysis calculation accuracy. The results verified that GPU can effectively shorten the operation time in dealing with a large amount of data and repeatability operation. The advantage of its processing performance is distinctly.Using CUDA to form the echo refactoring and track simulation based on GPU. According to the principle of echo generation and corresponding algorithm processing mechanism based on the function is the Kernel of CUDA. According to the processing points of the network structure of the corresponding threads partition, and compared the processing results of CPU. Finally compared the pulse compression and beamforming takes part in the host and the device prove the GPU rapid floating point arithmetic ability to improve the performance of the echo signal simulation algorithm.
