Emotional Mobilization Research In Online Public Events

2007 is considered to be the first year of the network public events, since then, China’s network public events have been at a high incidence of the situation. And throughout the various network public events that took place in recent years, it is easy to find that these events are filled with emotional catharsis of netizens and emotional release. Therefore, in this sense, there is no expression of emotion, there is no network public events. The occurrence and evolution of network public events in the final analysis is a process of emotional mobilization. Individuals or groups using network platform for emotional expression and inspire users of grief and indignation, banter and other emotions, such as to produce the collective identity sense, affect the progress of public events, the process is the emotional mobilization process. The whole process of the development of network public events is accompanied by the emotional mobilization, so the emotional mobilization plays an important role in the evolution of the network public events.Emotional mobilization is not a unique phenomenon in the network era, since the ancient times, China is a country with profound emotional mobilization tradition. However, in the Internet era, with the continuous development of the network carrier and the growing maturity of the Internet technology, the Internet era of emotional mobilization has emerged a new development, emotional mobilization is gradually from the reality of social reality to virtual space. Today, netizens can enjoy in the network space to express their views, to vent their emotions. Therefore, emotional mobilization has gradually become the one kind of social norm, its influence is also growing, netizens’ ridicule, ridicule satire affect the progression of events, even push the deep changes in society.In this paper, the author mainly uses case analysis, text analysis and other research methods, combining the related theory of emotional sociology, communication studies, and according to the "what" and "why" and "how" logic of writing to elaborate the mechanism, factors, strategies of the emotional mobilization in the network public events, internal and external factors of the emotional mobilization in the network of public events, the influences brought about by the emotional mobilization in the network of public events.Of course, through a series of studies about the emotional mobilization in network public events, the dual nature of the emotional mobilization network public event is also very obvious. On the one hand, the emotional mobilization in the network public events has the function of social safety valve and the barometer, but on the other hand, the surging passions also contribute to the group polarization, the network of violence, Internet rumors, populism and so on. In this regard, we must take an objective and dialectical attitude to look at it. I believe that in the near future, with the continuous development of civil society and the establishment and improvement of equal dialogue mechanism on the Internet, emotional mobilization will play a greater positive energy.
