Research On Network Nationalism Events From The Perspective Of Emotional Mobilization

In the past two years,cyber nationalism has been frequent,and the "Swedish incident"that this article focuses on is an example."Spontaneity" is an important way for this type of resistance to take place,and "emotion" is its main cause.At present,the relevant researchers of this topic pay less attention to the mobilization mechanism of this kind of event and the "emotional" factor with important mobilization.This paper will conduct research and discussion from this perspective,and will complement the existing research.Based on the frame analysis theory and the related theories of emotional mobilization,the article discusses the mobilization mechanism in the network nationalism event,and uses the virtual ethnographic method and case study method to conduct research.The author sorts out the development trend of typical network nationalism events in recent years,and the mobilization of mainstream media,other opinion leaders and netizens in the event.On this basis,the writer discusses the frame construction and emotional mobilization of the media,and the emotional interaction between the netizens and their self-proactive process.In terms of specific operations,this article focuses on the "Swedish Incident" in 2018.From the initial question of netizens on the domestic mainstream media to the unanimous critique of the Chinese netizens on the Swedish TV show,the media framework mobilization in the "Swedish Incident" and the netizen self-promoters presented a clear formation and development context.This provides a good research material for this study.The author analyzes the discourse and news framework of the media,and uses Python to crawl the @Global Times commentary area data,analyses the interactive discourse of netizens,and researches on the emotional logic of netizens through keywords.In the end,the article presents the reporting framework,emotional expression and mobilization strategies of the media represented by @Global Times,and the autonomous emotional mobilization mechanism with attribution logic,identity and utility pursuit as the main links of the netizens.The media and netizens realize the emotional stimulation,polarization or weakening through the frame alignment process,and realize the acceptance or refutation,promotion or disintegration of mobilization.It can be seen in the course of the incident that "emotion" is not necessarily "irrational".The rational cognition and emotional stimulation of netizens cross each other and jointly promote the development of the event.At present,this type of participation is more common in cyber nationalist events.The author believes that if the netizens can achieve good guidance and action norms,the network nationalist incident is also expected to contribute to China's diplomacy.
