Mental resilience is considered as an effective buffer in stress or adversity.Individuals with high mental resilience can adapt well when encountering setbacks,while self-efficacy and social support have a gain function to individual mental health.It is an important stressful resource and it is closely related to mental resilience.Therefore,on the basis of exploring the relationship between junior high school students' self-efficacy,social support and mental resilience,this study improves the mental resilience level of junior middle school students through the group guidance to the self-efficacy and social support,in order to explore the guidance scheme which can effectively promote the mental toughness of junior high school students.This research is divided into two parts.The first part is to explore the current situation and relationship between junior middle school students' self-efficacy,social support and mental resilience.Questionnaire survey was used to investigate 1547 junior high school students in eight middle schools in Shanghai city with self-efficacy Scale(GSES),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS)and Mental Resilience Scale(CD-RISC).The purpose of the second part is to improve their self-efficacy and social support after group counseling,so as to improve junior middle school students' mental resilience.Through group counseling,16 junior middle school students were given group guidance for two months and seven times,and the scores of self-efficacy,mental resilience and social support were recorded before and after tutoring,in order to evaluate the effect of group counseling.The results are as follows:1.In terms of mental resilience,the mental resilience of junior middle school students is at a medium upper level.There is no significant difference in sex;there is a significant difference in the whether or not the only child,the only child is significantly higher than that of the non only child;there is a significant difference on the source place,and the local source is significantly higher than that of the foreign source.2.In general sense of self-efficacy,junior middle school students' self-efficacy is at a moderate level.There are significant differences in sex,boys are significantly higher than girls;there are significant differences in whether or not the only child,and the only child is significantly higher than that of non only children;there is a significant difference on the place of birth,and the local source is significantly higherthan that of the foreign source.3.In terms of social support,social support of junior middle school students is in the middle upper level.There are significant differences in sex,girls are significantly higher than boys;there are significant differences in whether or not the only child,and the only child is significantly higher than that of non only children;there is a significant difference on the source place,and the local source is significantly higher than that of the foreign source.4.There was a significant positive correlation between mental resilience,self-efficacy and social support among junior middle school students.5.The self-efficacy has a positive predictive effect on mental resilience,and the social support part mediates the relationship between the self-efficacy and the mental resilience the intermediary effect is 0.19.6.Before and after counseling,the self-efficacy and social support time had significant effect.The main effect of resilience is not significant.General self efficacy,social support time and group interaction effect are significant.To sum up,the conclusion of this study is that there is a correlation between junior high school students' self-efficacy,social support and mental resilience,and social support plays an intermediary role in self-efficacy and mental resilience.After group counseling,self-efficacy and social support improved significantly.
