| As the growth of age, everyone would experience a lot of big points, and the end of a phase means the beginning of another stage. For the new middle school students, they might suffer some difficulties, such as the change of the environment, the increase of the academic and the change of the interpersonal relationship which was the most common of the maladjustment. They interrupt the relationship with previous classmates, and they might experience strong loneliness, the interpersonal relationship puzzlement could cause psychological problems and mental health. Thus, it is important to pay attention to the interpersonal relationship puzzlement of the new middle school students.This research includes two studies. In Study 1, participants were 520 students, which were the new junior middle school students and new senior middle school students, and they completed Social Self-efficacy Questionnaire, Children Loneliness Scale and Interpersonal Relationship Integrated Diagnosis Scale and self-made survey questionnaire. And the results were as following:1. There was no significant difference in gender among middle school students in terms of social self-efficacy, loneliness and interpersonal relationship puzzlement, and the difference was significant in dimensional that talking and dealing with the relationship with the opposite sex of interpersonal relationship puzzlementThe difference was also non-significance among social self-efficacy, loneliness and the dimensional that dealing with people of interpersonal relationship puzzlement, and the difference was significant in dimensional that making friends, talking and dealing with the relationship with the opposite sex of interpersonal relationship puzzlement.2. Social self-efficacy was negatively correlated with the dimensions of loneliness and interpersonal relationship puzzlement. The dimensions of loneliness were positively correlated with interpersonal relationship puzzlement.3.Social self-efficacy could directly predict loneliness and interpersonal relationship.Study 2 aimed to improve and change social self-efficacy, loneliness and interpersonal relationship puzzlement of new junior middle students through group counseling.40 new junior middle students were selected and divided into 2 group, one was the experimental group and the other was control group. After 14 times counseling intervention to the experimental group, it found that the psychological guidance by using social self-efficacy group counseling could significantly improve the loneliness and interpersonal relationship puzzlement. It also could improve the mental health of new students in middle school; offer the possibility of realizing the psychological guidance of group counseling. |
