The moral quality of citizens with the core of social responsibility is the important content of Ideological and moral cultivation.. Senior high school students have abilities to perform and fulfill social responsibilities, which can not only promote the comprehensive development of students but also be conducive to social construction and development. This paper mainly explains the concept of responsibility, sense of responsibility and social responsibility. It also studies the content of social responsibility education in the textbooks based on the teaching of Political Life. Through classroom observations and interviews with teachers, this paper explores the problems of social responsibility education in the teaching of Political Life and puts forward some countermeasures.A person has abilities and qualifications to complete certain tasks and bear the consequences in accordance with the law and moral requirements, which can be called responsibility. The sense of responsibility refers to that one has the sense of responsibility for the state, society, others and himself.The main features of social responsibility are practical, ethical and hierarchical.In the teaching of Political Life in senior high school, the contents of social responsibility mainly include the national responsibility, social responsibility and individual responsibility. On this basis, this paper focuses on the relationship between senior high school Political Life teaching and social responsibility education from the aspects of concepts, contents and significance of social responsibility.Based on interviews with teachers and classroom observations, we finds that the problems of social responsibility education in high school Political Life teaching are as follow. Firstly, social responsibility teaching objectives have not been effectively implemented.. Secondly, social responsibility teaching methods have no practical effects. Thirdly, the content of social responsibility teaching is not prominent.These are the main problems of social responsibility education in Political Life teaching.According to this paper, the author puts forward the following reasons. Teaching emphasis on knowledge goals while ignores emotional goals. Besides, Teachers'teaching philosophy are not updated. Also, the traditional teaching evaluation limits the social responsibility education.In view of the problems existing in the education of social responsibility in the teaching of Political Life in high schools, this paper puts forward some countermeasures. Teaching objectives should be more consistent with the requirements of social responsibility education. Teachers should excavate the content of social responsibility education in the textbook. The teaching evaluation methods should reflect the students' moral condition. Teachers should actively carry out comprehensive practical activities. All these countermeasures can enhance students'sense of social responsibility. We hope that through these measures can we strengthen the sense of social responsibility of the students and cultivate qualified socialist citizens.
