Lu Hsun,one of the most outstanding culture giants,is a great founder of the modern Chinese literature.His prose shows the achievement of the" literature revolution".Reading his classical writings can enrich the knowledge,nurture the spirituality and improve the Chinese quality by learning the wording,phrasing,writing sentences and organizing passages for the primary school students.Thus it has attracted more and more attentions on the studies of teaching Lu Hsun’s works to the pupils,especially after the "New Curriculum Standard" was established.Parts of his writings have been chosen into the Chinese curriculum of some schools.This thesis mainly discusses the following questions:how to select proper articles for the high grade-section pupils to learn,how to interpret Lu Hsun’s prose in the teaching practice and how to present his classical writings in the classes.The aim of this study is to explore an efficient teaching scheme of Lu Hsun’s prose for the high grade-section pupils,which provides the reference for the front-line Chinese educators.The thesis surveys the literature on the research of the teaching of Lu Hsun’s prose,and poses some problems of the existing studies.Based on the current research,this study is carried out from the following three dimensions:knowledge and abilities,methods and emotions,attitudes and values.It can be summarized that learning Lu Hsun’s prose during the primary school stage is greatly helpful to comprehend Lu Hsun’s writings deeply according to the investigation in the internship period.During the investigation,the author finds that the phenomenon still exists that Lu Hsun’s writings are interpreted to the template of "sharp criticism" in the teaching of his works in some Chinese classes.It not only neglects the literary flavor of the texts,but also misleads students’ comprehension and makes them lose the interests to Lu Hsun’s writings.In order to avoid the common misunderstandings in the teaching,the teachers in Q primary school in Beijing have discussed and attempted many times.And they finally decided that the teaching of Lu Hsun’s works can be divided into three steps:preparation,discussion and development reading.The author has taken part in the teaching process and investigated the situation of the teaching of Lu Hsun’s prose.Three teaching strategies are summarized.Firstly,select proper teaching contents.This needs to fully consider the stage and the interest of students.Secondly,organize the teaching actions orderly.The analysis in this part is carried out from the interpretation of the texts and the implementation of the teaching.The teaching scheme is summarized that the teachers need to not only interpret articles deeply,but also lead the students to understand the connotation of the text according to the learning status and the learning stage of students.Furthermore,the implementation of the teaching of Lu Hsun’s prose is summarized from the aspects of the preparation,discussion and development reading.Lastly,apply proper teaching methods.This part mainly includes reading texts,tasting details and interpreting Lu Hsun’s prose from different perspectives.
