In recent years,the issues for the quality of higher education in our country has received considerable attention and the quality of postgraduate students is one of them Learning experience is usually considered as an important aspect in the process of higher education evaluation.A large number of quantitative studies have come up with different descriptions and interpretations,but the underlying reasons behind these findings remain to be addressed.In view of that,this article researched from the perspective of students,rooted on the reality of the real situation,took qualitative research methods in order to summarize original study life of the postgraduates,which may lead to an improvement for their learning.This paper selects 29 full-time academic postgraduate students from K university as the research object and borrow Knud Illeris' s space theory as a framework to understand students' learning experience from the school learning and education,learning in the working life,web-based learning,daily learning and leisure interest and grassroots activities.The thesis is divided into 8 chapters.Chapter one:Introduction.This part mainly introduces the background of the research questions and clarifies the current situation of the postgraduate learning experience through reviewing literature home and abroad.After making a summary of the relevant theory and research conclusions,it put forward the shortcomings of current studies.At the same time,it defines the core concepts.Chapter two:Research design.Explain the research path,determinate the number of interviewees with their basic information and explicit the main research methods along with ethical issues.Chapter three:School learning and education.To analyze the learning experience mainly from four subspaces:class teaching,tutor-student interaction,academic lectures,fellow communication.Summarize some problems and defects of K University,and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.Chapter four:Daily learning.This part analyzes the learning experience from two subspace: the learning in dormitory and the from their relatives and friends.It summarizes some problems and defects of K University,and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.Chapter five:The learning in working life.It analyzes mainly from the experience of social practice,and puts forward the problems of students in the process of practice and theirs thoughts for the jobs.Chapter six:Internet-based learning.This part focuses on the overall cognition and learning process of the network,and analyzes the tendency of the network language learning and the reasons for not using the network.Chapter seven:Leisure interests and grassroots activities.It aims on postgraduate student union and make an analysis for the harvest after school hours.At the same time,it also analyzes the reasons that a considerable number of postgraduate students do not have second classes and puts forward some suggestions for the phenomenon.Chapter eight: Conclusions and suggestions.Based on the analysis and discussion from the first seven chapters,the author puts forward the general proposal and analyzes the deficiency of the paper and the problems to be further discussed.The research drew the following conclusions:(1)the classes satisfaction is not high(2)diversified relationships between tutor and students(3)fellow students got high cohesion(4)weakening classmates relationship(4)high quantity and low quality of lectures(6)work enthusiasm is high(7)network utilization rate is low(8)severe lack of second class(9)the lack of learning atmosphere in dormitory(10)the overall low level of interaction.Some suggestions are put forward accordingly.
