Group cooperative learning is widely used in many countries in the world of a kind of creative teaching theory and strategy,compared with the traditional teaching,cooperative learning group by group supervision,discussion,plus more can arouse the enthusiasm of the class learning,encourage their cooperation to explore,analyze and solve problems,to cultivate and improve the students’ independent study ability,the unity cooperation ability.This paper discusses from the following several parts:the application of group cooperative learning in high school history teaching present situation and existing problems,including connotation,theoretical basis,etc.);The group works on specific application processes in high school history teaching,including reasonable grouping(including the principles and meaning of proper grouping);Group cooperative learning in the division of labor and role of teachers,students,teachers are guiders,participants,monitoring and evaluation incentive,students role consciousness,the division of labor in the group);The teaching application strategy and case analysis of the cooperative learning in the high center of anshan new century experimental school.The author believes that in our continuous exploration and practice,group cooperation study must be an effective teaching mode to cultivate and improve students’ ability and improve the performance of the college entrance examination.
