In the process of cultivating the quality of citizens, the mathematics course is a compulsory course. The mathematics course is the foundation of the whole natural subject in secondary education, and the mathematics course in senior grade one has an important leading position. However, according to the author's own experience andeducational practice, the author finds that the mathematical results of junior high school students will appear large fluctuations after entering senior high school. Some students realize that and carry out a variety of adjustments to try to improve their academic performance, but the effect is not obvious. There are also some students whose senior high school entrance examination results are not good, but their mathematical results are among the best results over a period of time in senior high school. They are good at studying mathematics. This kind of performance polarization appears due to the different adaptability of students to high school mathematics learning. Therefore, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the internal factors that affect the adaptability of students' mathematics learning.Teachers can make detailed and targeted guidance of students according to these factors,so as to help them complete the smooth transition from junior high school to senior high school and improve the overall level of senior one students' adaptability to mathematics learning. This is an issue that has practical significance. In this study, the author takes the students and teachers of some classes in senior grade one in a key senior high school as the research object, takes required maths one and required maths two of PEP's version B as the carrier, and analyzes the internal factors affecting senior grade one students' adaptability to mathematics learning comprehensively and systematically.Through the questionnaire survey and real-time interviews with the students in different periods, the author makes a detailed analysis of the student's mathematical scores, interviews with experienced teachers, and draws the following conclusions:The main factors that affect the senior grade one students' adaptability to mathematics learning are as follows: first, the basic understanding of mathematics;second, learning interest;third, learning methods;fourth, learning habits.Besides, the author analyzes the specific performance of students with different adaptability in these areas.Ultimately, the author makes speculative interpretation and analyzes these factors simply, and proposes some feasible suggestions for students. This paper researches the internal factors affecting the senior grade one students' adaptability to mathematics learning to some extent, which enriches the content and field of the adaptability to mathematics learning and lays a foundation for the corresponding strategy in later studies.According to these research results, the educators carry out purposeful educational intervention to enable students to achieve excellent results in senior grade one mathematics learning.
