Mathematics is the foundation of natural science, mathematics is the most important subject in senior high school, and the higher mathematics is an important basic role. But in teaching practice, we found that the high school students mathematics study serious polarization, some students’mathematics achievement decline, interest in learning mathematics learning landslide, appeared many not adapt to the situation. So, what are the factors that influence mathematics learning adaptability? What are the differences between the students? What are the factors that caused the differences? This topic is to study the problem.In this paper, through the literature retrieval, sorting, analysis, in the previous research and investigation on the basis of the front-line teachers, according to the questionnaire of the requirements and principles, combined with the characteristics of mathematics "compiled by the senior high school students’mathematics learning adaptability questionnaire". Study on the selection of Sichuan Province Linshui middle school, the second County six high school students in 999 patients as the research object, a comprehensive investigation and analysis of high school students mathematics learning adaptability, and a comprehensive and systematic analysis of factors affecting the adaptability of learning mathematics. By comprehensive investigation and data analysis, conclusions are obtained as follows:(1) The high school student mathematics learning adaptability structure consists of two dimensions of mathematical learning content and teaching method.(2) The high school students’mathematics learning adaptability is at a medium level. There are gender differences (the boys than girls), the differences (better than urban students, rural students) is better than that of only children, boarding school is lower than that of non only child, liberal arts students than science students.(3)The high school students mathematics learning adaptability exists significant differences among, respectively, is one school> two> three school.(4) Mathematics achievement, family structure, educational level of parents, family education and mathematics has significantly positive correlation to learning adaptability. There was no significant correlation between learning adaptability and learning habits in mathematics.In general, this research through the development of senior high school students’ mathematics learning adaptability questionnaire, investigation and analysis of high school students mathematics learning component adaptation, study on mathematics learning adaptability factor, and the data analysis results are speculative certain explanation. In theory, this paper studies the high school students’ mathematics learning adaptability problem in a certain extent, enriches the contents and fields of higher mathematics learning adaptability; in practice, this paper is aimed at the high school students mathematics learning adaptability measurement analysis tools and data, to lay the foundation for the later put forward the corresponding settlement tactics.
