Because of the learning environment of students, different mathematics characteristic between Junior middle school and senior high school, learning methods and mathematical thinking ability and other reasons, makes just to make part often feel un adaptability to mathematics learning of high school, after an excitement period with a full of fresh and curious. As is known to all, the high school mathematics is not only the foundation of senior high school mathematics, but also the key to do well in the senior high school mathematics, therefore, higher mathematics learning situation is good or bad, to a large extent determines the students’mathematical learning situation of the direction of the future. On this premise, exploring the reasons for maladaptive phenomena in mathematics learning,and giving some effective measures to improve the phenomena, to change the attitude of students’ mathematics learning, to enhance the effect of mathematics learning, has become a pressing matter of the moment.This paper explores the factors of questions and reasons through interview and questionnaire investigation. First, in order to get a preliminary understanding of the factors of mathematics learning effect, I interview four students. Then, in order to get more accurately situation of the senior one students’mathematics learning adaptability, I do a larger area questionnaire investigation to the whole students of senior one.According to the statistical result of the school which is researched, some high students have maladaptive phenomena in the process of mathematics learning. The maladaptive phenomena, not only has bad impact on their learning mood, but also makes their learning effect decrease obviously. The result from investigation suggests that the phenomena of inadequate adaptation are existed. There are five main points which lead to inadequate adaptation:(1)the changes of education environment;(2)the different mathematics characteristic between Junior middle school and senior high school;(3)the different characteristic between mathematical textbooks of Junior middle school and senior high school;(4)the teaching methods and teaching schedule of mathematics;(5)the own problem of students.The results from studies show that, if we give some guidance and help to the student who is not adjust to the mathematics learning, on one hand, we can help the students to shorten the adaptation period, on the other hand we can greatly improve students’ mathematics learning maladaptive situation. Therefore, after the analysis of the factors of students’mathematics learning adaptability, I put forward some positive measures to improve the situation of mathematics learning adaptability, which can improve the mathematics learning effect and the overall quality of mathematics teaching.
