With the rapid development of modern society and accelerating the process of our country,the family structure and culture are constantly changing,family problems caused by poor parent-child relationship.so it gradually attracted the attention of the society.At the same time,China's social work has begun to intervene in the family's services which helps families cope with structural disorders,loss of function and other issues.Satir family therapy has been introduced into China for decades,but the development of the model is still in the plight of localization.Satir model put the individual problems in the family,look at the various crisis facing families from the perspective of system,through communication attitude,iceberg theory,map of family to help families to re-examine the family rules,such as the relationship between the members and so on.Researchers believe that this model is adapt to the current China family.According to the literature,foreign scholars on the theory and practice of Satir therapy has been quite perfect,and domestic scholars are just starting,but also need to continue to explore and learn.This paper systematically summarizes and collates the relevant theories and practices of Satir family therapy model,and explores the effectiveness of the Satir model in the family parent-child relationship from the perspective of professional social work.The researchers from the perspective of social work,parent-child relationship as an example,successfully ease the main case of parent-child relationship.Through the case study,the researchers concluded that the Satir model is an effective way to improve the poor parent-child relationship.At the same time,it also provides practical experience for the localization of the social work profession and the Satir model.
