Space notion is an important component of mathematics education,At the same time,it is the basic element that is required for innovation.So improving middle school students' sense of space notion is one of the requirements for students' thinking abilities to the junior high school curriculum standard,and space nation is also becoming an important content in the stage of Compulsory Education.Because we are in the process of curriculum reform now,the teaching of the space notion has a great change,and teaching substance is also more scientific and exquisite.These changes are gradually to meet the requirements to train the space notion of students.The significance of this paper is to research the situation on understanding space notion of junior high school students,and analyze their mastery degree in order to make some countermeasures,suggestions and service for developing junior high school students' spatial concept.In this paper,the research takes the students from one junior high school in S city in Heilongjiang Province as the research object.Meanwhile,taking educational principle and curriculum standard as theoretical basis,and based on mathematics curriculum standard requires,this paper uses the literature research to understand the connotation of space notion.In addition,according to the questionnaire analysis and interviewing method,the author researches the students' mastery situation on graphic rotate,graphic fold and three-dimensional graphic.Then the author know about high school students' space notion cultivate situation and difference according to the quiz.And combing the typical teaching cases as well as the basis of teaching practice,the author research the problems and reasons about mathematical space notion of junior high school students.Finally,the research puts forward some relevant training strategies.According to analysis and research,this research shows cultivating students' space notion has the following questions.First,most of the students don't observe the graph very carefully.Second,they have not enough experience in practicing.Third,the problems that they consider are not comprehensive.So students should furtherimprove graphics cognitive abilities.In response to these problems,the author interviewed some teachers.The following teaching measures should be taken in junior high school mathematics teaching:In the mathematics teaching aspect,teachers should correctly understand the great importance role of space notion,and adopt relevant teaching measures.What's more,they should make the teaching activities linked with the daily life.At the same time,they should scan the training value pf space notion from students' point of view.And based on the inquiry study task,they can provide the condition for students' space notion.With these methods,teachers can improve and develop the ability of apperceiving mathematical spatial imagination.
