Chinese textbook illustration, main part of Chinese textbook, is the carrier of the text content consicely edited by the editors based on the text standard, concerned guiding idology and the students’ cognitive features.As the second language of the Chinese textbooks, it is not only decrease the difficulty of the students’ understanding for textbooks, but also provides the material for the interaction in the class.This context picks the Chinese textbook of 13 sets of compulsory education as the object of study including the Jiangsu Education Press, People’s Education Press and Beijing Normal University Publishing Group, which enlights the illustration edition of the compulsory aducation Chinese textbook.The five parts of the content:First Part: Introduction, which mainly concerns the research state of the topics and elaborates the resourses, purposes, meanings, ways, objects, difficulties,and the creation of the content.The second Part: Conception definition and the theory basis, which defines the conception of the textbooks and the textbook illustration and provides the detailed introduction of the illustration’s state in the textbook and its theory base.The Third Part: the illustratin condition of the current compulsory Chinese textbook. As the mai part of text, it analyze both of the total pages and percentages of each set of the textbook illustration,the gradient distribution of each grades and in Chinese press and Chinese(S) for the cases of primary school Chinese text in the textbook illustrations and text alignment.The fourth part: the contrast between current Chinese textbooks in compulsory education and the illustration. This part mainly analyzes each set of total illustration pages and percentages in the 13 sets of compulaory education beased on last part, the illustration pages of each grades of the gradient distribution and and in Chinese press and Chinese(S) for the cases of primary school Chinese text in the textbook illustrations and text alignment.The five part: The enlighting effect of illustration Chinese textbook in current compulsory education and the current edition and apply of textbooks. This part puts forward a few of references requirements of the current Chinese textbooks based on the last part. In addition, it also give some suggestions on the illustrator designers.
