In the new round of institution reforms, the new chemical curriculum in our country stands formany editions of textbook for one standard. According to chemical curriculum standard of ourcountry, it can compile different feature and style of chemical experimental textbooks.Studying actively,researching curriculum standard and experimental textbooks, concerningthe experimental work of chemical curriculum reformation in the middle school have becomethe prime task of the teachers and the chemical education researchers. In this essay, the foureditions of compulsory education "curriculum standard" chemical experimental textbookshave been issued will be compared and researched in the amount of the illustration,thedisplay form of the illustration,the contents of illustration,the composed form of illustration,the use of illustration, then the conclusions will be gained. That aims to provide some wealthand messages with teach of teachers and study of students and bring some apocalypse andexample to the following redaction and correction of the illustration in the textbooks. Thework will be valuable to the fortune redaction and research of the textbooks.Four parts are included in this essay, and here are the content and achievement of each:At the beginning, I proposed the questions and give brief answers to the origin of thepaper and the direction and value of the research work.Then the second part of the paper is about the position of illustration in the textbooks. Itemphasizes on the arranging,summarizing,analyzing and researching into the literaturesabout the use of the illustration and the categories of the illustration in the textbooks.After that, the illustration in the four editions of compulsory education "curriculumstandard" chemical experimental textbooks are compared in the fifth part. The amount of theillustration,the display form of the illustration,the contents of illustration,the composed formof illustration,the use of illustration, those are compared and analyzed separately. Then, thecommon grounds and the distinctions of the design for the illustration in those five aspects aredetermined.Finally, according to the contents of the compare and the research about the illustrationin different editions of compulsory education "curriculum standard" chemical experimentaltextbooks, the six conclusions are acquired.
