Area activity is what the children obtain individual growing in the course of learning and environment that has effective interaction with them,and to achieve this goal,teachers need to build an active area that could follow the rules to meet the needs of growing for children and provide enough active equipment for them.Learning And Development Guide of 3-6 year-old children pointed that the games is an important way to promote children's learning and growing.Area activity is the place to achieve the goal that promoting the learning and growing for children and it could increase children's knowledge,experience and discovery ability.Area activity of senior kindergarten is a important part of infant school education,and what have a strong influence is the environment construction,children in good environment could obtain the promoting of concentration,imagination and spatial thinking etc.So environment construction is playing crucial role for achieving the goal of area activity.However,teachers are hard to avoid thoughtlessness in some way and can not get to the point during the construction of area activity environment,so designing tends to formalization.The text chooses the area activity environment of senior kindergarten as research object and applies observation,interview and case analyzing.It uses self-written observing record of construciton of area activity environment of senior kindergarten and interview outlines of teachers whose duty for construction of area activity environment of senior kindergarten as researching material,the six classes of three senior kindergarten as observing objects and twelve teachers as interview objects to carry out the research.In spatial distribution,equipment layout,types of area and area simbol terms,the text researches and analyzes the current situation of area activity environment of senior kindergarten in which we found these areas has some problems:scientific deficiency in spacial distribution,rarely renew types of areas and the layout of equipment is unreasonable,then area symbol is not fit for children to understand etc.To solve these problems,it not only suggests planning the spacial distribution reasonably with local condition,setting the types of area flexibly and changeably,providing proper equipment to children and making visual and concise area symbol on the basis of age of children,but also aims at offering reference and help for teachers working at the frontline and promoting the quality of area activity of senior kindergarten and enlarge area activity better.
