The activity area is the basic place for young children to play in the garden daily.It plays a decisive role in the individualized learning of children and the development of all aspects of their abilities.The creation of the regional environment is also increasingly concerned by kindergartens and teachers.At present,the function of the activity area has been recognized by most kindergartens,but teachers have certain problems in how to create and use the regional environment in the field.Formalization of the activity area is one of the more common problems.Therefore,this study aims to study the creation and use of kindergarten class activity areas under the “children orientation” concept,using young children as the center of activity area activities,respecting young children,and using young children as the primary function of the activity area.This study selected five kindergartens in Shenyang,each of which chose two classes for small,middle,and large classes,for a total of thirty classes.The observation,interview,and case analysis methods were used to determine the types of activity areas in the area where the activity area was created.Analysis of spatial design and planning,material selection and delivery,and regional labeling,the interest and participation of children in the use of children,independence and creativity,ability to cooperate in cooperation,awareness of rules,and teachers' positioning of regional goals in the use of teachers,the delivery of materials,the observation and guidance of young children,and the reflection on activities.The study found that the creation and use of the activity area had the following problems: 1.The placement of material in the activity area neglected the needs of children;2.The activity area logo was not easy for children to understand;3.The teacher's guiding philosophy deviated from the child's subjectivity;4.The teacher ignored the observation of the child's activity.5,teachers can not timely intervention in accordance with the needs of children;6.Insufficient reflective ability of teachers.To address these issues,this study proposes the following suggestions: 1.According to the needs of children to carry out the material;2.According to the characteristics of young children design activity area logo and use rules;3.To establish a guiding principle of the development of early childhood,and implement the guidance to the specific regional activities;4.Teachers should pay attention to Observe the activities of children,and improve the ability and level of observation of young children;5.Teachers should timely and appropriate guidance according to the needs of children;6.Teachers should stand on the perspective of children to evaluate and reflect.
