The Kindergarten Education Guideline(for Trial Implementation)states that "the environment is an important educational resource and should be created and used to effectively promote the development of children." The creation of kindergarten area environment is an important part of the creation of the environment,in which the creation of the physical environment has an important role.The science area is an important place for children to learn science,and the creation of the material environment in the science area provides strong support for children’s science learning,stimulates their interest in scientific inquiry,helps them gain rich scientific experience,and enhances their scientific inquiry ability.This study mainly uses observation and interview methods to understand the overall situation of the creation of science area physical environment in kindergartens,and analyze the problems and causes of them,and propose corresponding countermeasures based on the analysis to provide some ideas and references for the creation of science area physical environment in kindergartens.This study is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes six parts: origin of the study,significance of the study,core concepts,review of the study,theoretical foundation,and research design.The second part is the current situation and analysis of the creation of science area physical environment in kindergarten.The overall situation of the creation of science area physical environment is analyzed from six aspects: teachers’ awareness of the creation of kindergarten science area environment,space layout of science area,wall design,content creation,material placement,and marking.The third part is the analysis of the problems and reasons for the creation of the physical environment in the kindergarten science area.The main analysis of the problems in the creation of the physical environment of kindergarten science area,such as teachers’ lack of awareness of the creation of science area,the lack of interactivity in the layout of space,the lack of education and appropriateness of wall creation,the lack of comprehensive content of the creation,and the lack of effective use of signs,etc.;on this basis,the causes of the problems are analyzed from both kindergarten and teachers.The fourth part is the suggestions for the creation of the physical environment in the kindergarten science area.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes,suggestions are made at the kindergarten and teacher levels respectively.At the kindergarten level,we suggest that kindergartens should be highly aware of the importance of the physical environment of the science area,increase the material support for the creation of the indoor science area environment,and reasonably plan the creation of the outdoor science area environment;at the teacher level,we suggest that kindergartens should deeply understand the concept of creating the physical environment of the science area,strengthen the knowledge of kindergarten science education,integrate educational resources to enrich the types of science area creation,pay attention to the richness and dynamics of the materials put in,and The teacher level: deeper understanding of the concept of creating science area physical environment,more knowledge about science education in kindergarten,more types of science area creation under the integration of educational resources,focus on the richness and dynamics of materials,and improve the reasonable use of science signs.
