Environment is a very important factor of preschool education stages,it has the incalculable effect of the children’s mental and physical development. The environment of activity room walls is an important part of Kindergarten environment, it take up most of child daily times by play in the activity room. Therefore, the quality of activity room walls environment has a direct influence on healthy growth of children. Given this situation, the author has adopted such methodologies such as the documentary, questionnaire survey, interview, observational method synthetically to investigate the current situation of some kindergartens activity room walls design of Guiyang City.During the course of studying, the Paper sums up achievements of activity room walls environment of some kindergarten in Guiyang City and analyzes the main problems presented: biased toward beautify environment rather than achieve education goal, neglect of children’s principal status and participation is not strong, attaching importance to art and looking down on content, the representation lack of operational and continuity, walls is always high, materials are much more single, and the utilization rate of walls surface was low, evaluation has limitations. This thesis summarizes problems and put forward some countermeasures for improve them: the relative institutions should be worked out and be perfected. It will need strengthen the support in both spiritual andmaterial terms, to improve teacher’s awareness of the wall design,promote the training for teacher’s specialty development, and raise utilization of the wall design.
