In recent years, the state has introduced a series of assistance policies and measures, in order to promote the development of secondary vocational education. Since new semester in September 2009, full-time students study in public secondary vocational schools who are from rural family having economic difficulties and majoring in agriculture, enjoy national free tuition policy. With policy guidance, Guangdong government attaches great importance to the funding work of the secondary vocational education, and has formed its own system. Mainly in this paper, we study the secondary vocational school's poor student's financing work based on the author's secondary vocational schools in funding of our former work, the data is reliable, can work for secondary vocational funded research provides a good material. A case study to work to improve actual effect for secondary vocational schools. This paper captures the development of providing financial assistance to poor vocational schools students through studying its history and current situation in our country. According to the current situation and effect of funding secondary vocational school students in Zengcheng, taking what is implemented in the East Vocational School of Zengcheng where I work as a studying object and on the basis of investigation and analysis, I summarize funding policy influences on the school enrollment, the loss of students rate and the impact to those students who were financially assisted, and discuss reasons for these influences. And finally put forward some suggestions.During my studying of the impact on the regular work in my working school and the students' life that funding policy brings along, by analyzing data and talking to the students got funded, I find that funding policy has more limited role to school recruitment, the loss of student, and students' daily life. There are four main reasons for this phenomenon: ZengCheng residents to raise the level of income, the amount of funding for the student family is not attractive; school propaganda work is not in place, parents and students do not understand the policy and no attention; identification of poor students is not clear, the subsidy policy is not implemented into the real needs of the family; the amount of subsidy payment is not strict, issued after the lack of regulatory feedback. To solve these problems, what has to do is: firstly is to be based on the actual level of development of the region, the appropriate adjustment of the amount of funding; secondly is to improve the policy of targeted, funding for needy students really need; thirdly is to do the policy publicity and its organization and implementation in order to carry out the work properly; fourthly is to keep the students grant under strict supervision to make sure the money has been delivered effectively.
