Shyness refers to the experience of individuals in the social situations of anxiety, fear,and the feeling of embarrassment. Junior high school students are in a second leap period whose self-consciousness is developing, physical and mental development is not balanced,contradiction is more outstanding. Rapid development of Junior high school students' self-consciousness, leading to sensitivity to social evaluation. Shyness also become typical psychological characteristic. Moderate shyness is a normal reaction to different situations,however, excessive shyness could bring psychological barriers such associal anxiety, social phobia, in turn, affect the normal learning life of junior high school students, which is not conducive to their physical and mental health development. This study attempts to use the method of group guidance to counsel intervention to junior high school students who is shyness, and to examine the effect of group counseling, in order to provide certain reference and guidance to school education of the junior middle school students shyness and targeted intervention.This research includes six parts:The first part is literature review part and putting forward to some problem. Firstly,summarizing the general overview, expressions, theories of the shyness, and then based on the predecessors' research, and summarizes the current of junior middle school students shyness.Given the situation of predecessors' intervention on shyness, this study adopts the method of group guidance to intervene to junior high school students shyness.The second part is the research design. On the basis of relevant theories put forward to the goal of this research, research tools, research design, etc. Mainly adopt the method of group guidance to intervene 12 high shy and 3 not shy students. According to the model of Pre-test intervention, post-test, analyzing, the test is based on yingmin Chen's shy questionnaire of junior middle school students.The third part is the process of group counseling intervention. Divided into three stages,formation and establishment, counseling intervention stage, the end stage. This research has carried on the detailed introduction and summarized to each stage of intervention process.The fourth part is the result of the intervention.After 11 group guidance interventions,the results show that group members' shyness get improved significantly. Shyness have significant improvement in the face of a stranger, in the face of the opposite evaluates,modest dimensions. But the effect is not significant in the dimension of self-expression and in the face of negative evaluation.The fifth part is the analysis and discussion. This study from the perspective of shyness score comparison between the experimental group and control group, and discuss the counseling process reflection Angle analysis, then put forwards the suggestion of reasonable education. Summarized the significance of the study, and summarized the deficiency in the process of the group counseling intervention. Finally, introspect to the investigation. In view of the research results the author puts forward to the meaning of education, and put forward to the guidance of psychological health education on three aspects of student individual, family,school.The sixth part is the conclusion and suggestion part. Finally, it briefly summarizes the final conclusions of this study.
