| Shyness refers to the fear of a negative evaluation that is uncomfortable in a social situation,accompanied by emotional frustration or inhibition,which can significantly affect the behavior of participating in desired activities or pursuing individual and professional goals.After individual development enters middle school,the rapid physical development and the slow psychological development lead to the imbalance of physical and mental development,and then cause a variety of psychological crisis of middle school students.In the middle school students’ thinking with obvious contradiction,with the awakening of self-consciousness and development,their self-esteem,establish self-identity need more strong,they are increasingly concerned about their image and status in the eyes of others,how to in front of classmates and teachers to keep a good impression is very important for teenagers.However,shy individuals often encounter various difficulties and obstacles due to the lack of necessary communication skills when communicating with others.This study explores the high school students shyness,the relationship between core self-evaluation and peer relations,analyzes the influence mechanism,for high school students to provide a set of feasible improving self assessment,thus reduce shyness and improve the level of peer relations,help the core self-evaluation is negative,and have higher shyness and the healthy relationships of middle school students improve the situation.In the first study,a total of 264 students of three grades in two high schools in foshan city,guangdong province were investigated by using the shyness scale,core self-assessment scale and peer relationship scale to understand the status quo of high school students’ shyness and its related factors,so as to prepare for group counseling.Research 2:develop a group counseling program.The theme of this group counseling is to reduce the shyness level of high school students,improve the core self-evaluation,and improve the interpersonal relationship level of high school students.Through the intervention of students’ shyness,and then the intervention of students’peer relationship..The research results are as follows:1.The level of shyness,the level of core self-evaluation and the level of peer relationship of high school students are in the middle level.Except for the significant difference in gender,there is no significant difference in the demographic variables such as family form,whether the only child,grade,and registered permanent residence.2.For high school students groups,shyness,core self-evaluation and peer relationship of the three variables,two related core self-evaluation and peer relationship was significantly positively related,shyness and high core self-evaluation,high school students was significantly negative related to the level of peer relationship and core self-evaluation in partial intermediary role between shyness and peer relations.3.After group psychological counseling,there was a significant difference in the core self-evaluation and before and after shyness test scores of the intervention group,and a significant interaction effect with the control group,which proved the effectiveness of the regimental auxiliary program developed in study ii.The implementation of the regimental auxiliary program could effectively reduce the degree of shyness and improve the core self-evaluation of high school students.The scores of peer relationship in the intervention group were significantly different before and after the group supplement,and the interaction effect was significant with the control group,indicating that the improvement of peer relationship in high school students was related to the reduction of shyness level and the improvement of core self-evaluation,which further demonstrated the effectiveness of the intervention program developed and implemented by the research. |
