With the promotion of quality education,mental health issues are getting more and more attention.How to develop students with strong personality,strong will and good interpersonal relationship become an important issue of education.Primary school stage is the early stages of children's physical and mental development and the current lack of related to emotional intelligence education in primary school education,students can't learn in school is associated with emotional intelligence ability,leading to students aware of their emotion and management ability,the ability of self motivation,the ability to recognize others' emotions is low.Based on the above background,this study intends to solve two problems:One is to explore whether emotional intelligence has predictive effect on problem behavior;The second is to explore an effective method to improve the emotional intelligence of primary school students,and to develop a set of scientific and perfect class group counseling courses based on emotional intelligence theory and emotion curriculum practice.This study consists of three parts:the research used a questionnaire,a primary school in Nanjing 353 pupils in the elementary school students emotional intelligence questionnaire,measure the strengths and difficulties questionnaire,to explore the characteristics of primary school students emotional intelligence and problem behavior and the relationship between the two;Study 2 in a conclusion,on the basis of selected from grade three students in emotional intelligence does not exist significant differences between the two classes were as control group and experimental group,control group without intervention,the experimental group 10 class intervention group guidance course,after the intervention,by analyzing the results of a pretest,to evaluate the intervention effect of this course;In this study,we conducted semi-structured interviews with group members to supplement quantitative research.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)In addition to the other dimensions of the self-emotion management dimension and the general average of emotional intelligence,the differences between the two groups are very significant.(2)In the dimension of self-emotional awareness,the third grade is significantly less than the fifth grade;In the dimension of self-emotion management,the third grade is significantly less than the sixth grade;In other people's emotional awareness dimension,the third grade is significantly less than the fifth grade.(3)Whether there is significant difference in the dimension of social behavior of student cadres,the former is significantly higher than the latter.(4)In the dimension of emotional symptoms,the fourth and fifth grades were significantl worse than those of the third graders.In the dimension of character problem,the fourth grade was significantly worse than the third grade.In terms of pro-social behavior,the third graders were significantly better than the fourth,fifth and sixth graders.(5)In addition to the emotional awareness dimension of others,emotional intelligence scores and other dimensions are negatively correlated with emotional symptoms.The total scores and dimensions of emotional intelligence were positively correlated with pro-social behavior.In addition to the self-motivation dimension,emotional intelligence scores and other dimensions were positively correlated with hyperactivity.Other people's emotional awareness dimension,other people's emotion management dimension and emotional intelligence total are positively correlated with peer communication.(6)The self-motivation dimension has a high predictive effect on emotional symptoms.Other people's emotion management dimension has a higher prediction effect on emotional symptoms.The self-motivation dimension has a higher prediction effect on the total score of difficulties.To sum up,the emotional intelligence of primary school students cannot predict the problem behavior significantly.(7)The intervention of class group counseling course makes the students' emotional intelligence significantly improved.
