Adrian Gurney's Painting Creation And Its Historical Expression

This paper is a case study of Romanian Adrian Ghenie's painting creation,exploring the formation of its unique expression,and combined with the artist's growth background and different stages of the works to analyze the creative intentions of Adrian so that to enter his moving spirist world.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part,from Cluj to Berlin,introduced Adrian studio and work manners,make a brief combon the growth of Adrian's background and creative activities;The second part describes the image features and painting language in the works of Adrian ghenie;The third part tells the story of historical painting and self-portrait painting`s new life,focusing on the introduction of personal labels to the self-portrait and small group portrait,and explore the historicity of Adrian Ghenie 's painting;The fourth part describe the Baroque aesthetic in the works of Adrian,the outline of Baroque aesthetics,and the works of Adrian,to explore the impact of Baroque paingting on Adrian Ghenie;The fifth part is the reality and fiction-the mysterious world of the concern,associated with the the artists who are in the same period,combined with the characteristics of contemporary painting,summed up the way he build the mysterious world.
