Research On The Design Of Museum Showcases Under The Concept Of Natural Construction

The number of museums have been growing in nearly thirty decades,with all-embracing and ever-changing exhibitions.As the main element of museum,showcase should be designed to meet the requirements of contributing flexible and functional exhibitions.At first,the article analyses the evolution of museums and the development of museum showcases.And it describes the current situation of showcase design which combined with industry.By analyzing,it comes up with the system of museum showcase design method under the “Nature Construction” idea.This system maintains that showcase design should be based on “ORIGIN” ?“ESSENCE” ? “CHANGE”.It also emphases that showcase design should follow nature design thinking of “Nature Growth”.Moreover,it advocates the derivative design thinking of traditional material making thought.In the end,the article have tested the feasibility of the this thinking in practical design activities.
